Thomas Maury Pankey and Nora Hall Pankey Scholarship Fund
Thomas Maury Pankey, who died in 2003 at age 80, put a high priority on a college education. A Nabisco salesman for most of his life, Mr. Pankey regretted that he never completed his degree. Savvy and careful with his investments, Mr. Pankey vowed that others would have the educational opportunities he lacked. In his estate plans, he created the Thomas Maury Pankey and Nora Hall Pankey Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships for deserving University students from Buckingham County, Va., who needed assistance.
