Edward F. Howrey Professorship

The Edward F. Howrey Professorship in Law was funded with a bequest from Mr. Howrey, a distinguished lawyer and leader in the development of antitrust law and policy. Mr. Howrey served on the United States Attorney General's committee to study antitrust laws, and was appointed chairman of the Federal Trade Commission by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1953. By supporting the study of ethics and professional responsibility, the Howrey Professorship promotes honorable conduct in the legal community.
