The Meinhard Robinow Lectureship in Pediatrics
The Robinow Lectureship in Pediatrics honors Meinhard Robinow, MD, with a permanent and meaningful tribute. The lectureship allows University residents, medical students, researchers, and clinicians to deepen their understanding of timely, significant advances and issues in pediatrics. It complements and enhances the high quality of pediatric education, research, and patient care at the University of Virginia.
The Meinhard Robinow Lectureship in Pediatrics fund provides for an annual lecture in the field of pediatrics, sustaining Dr. Robinow's enduring legacy as a gifted teacher and physician—he was a member of the UVA faculty in the 1970s and a well-known clinical geneticist and dysmorphologist.. Lecturers shall be selected by a committee composed of the chair of the Department of Pediatrics, a representative of clinical staff at Kluge Children's Rehabilitation Center, and a representative of the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Genetics.
