Elizabeth Taylor Greer Leadership Fund
Created in 2003 by Elizabeth Taylor Greer (Parent, 2003), the Elizabeth Taylor Greer Leadership Fund supports an outstanding graduate student devoted intellectually and practically to developing leadership in younger students. The Greer Fellow, situated in the University of Virginia Women's Center, mentors undergraduate students, and as part of this effort, identifies highly-respected regional, national, and international leaders for speaking engagements and leadership luncheons with students on Grounds. The Elizabeth Zintl Leadership Award Presentation is one of the primary events that the Greer Fellow coordinates. Recent Zintl faculty awardees include, Marcia Day Childress, Associate Professor of Medical Education and Co-director of the Humanities in Medicine Program, Yvonne Hubbard, Director of Student Financial Services, and Carolyn Callahan, Commonwealth Professor at U.Va. Curry School of Education.
